- About Me:
- I am a former public school art teacher. I also worked for twenty years at various positions with Triangle Art Supply, Atlanta Art Supply,and interned at The Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art. I am an advocate for the disabled artists and a member of Very Special Arts. I am also in several other art organizations. I have been in several juried and non juried art exhibits. I presently exhibit in a Gallery Space in Norman, Okla. called Gallery 15. I also created Art Theory and Inspiration.

- About my art
- I like to work in various media including painting,sculpture, and printmaking. I like fantasy, symbols and the story in art. I like to experiment. I love strong color with design and more spontanious brush work. I think art is a process and I am still learning. Presently, I am working in sculpture and painting. I may try to combine these mediums I am not sure yet.I will post an Artists Statement that is more complete.I am presently trying to get a painting published.

- Mary Frank, George Hughes, Marc Chagall, Frida Kahlo, Aboriginal artists, Jemima Blackburn, Mary Cassatt, Georgia OKeeffe,Faith Ringgold, Jasper Johns, Celtic artists many, many more.Oh, Rosemary Mayer is one of my favorite sculptors and Nancy Holt.

- Jemima Blackburn, Kate Millett, Mother Theresa, Hildagard of Bingen, Judy Chicago, Isabel Bishop,Lucy Lippard,Gloria Steinham, my mother Gay McCaslin, April McCaslin, Also Louise Bogan the poet, many many more. I also like many women in the field of art therapy that I have met. Marion Woodman is a Jungian psychologists that has changed the way I think. I have read many of her books and like her beliefs.I like the writer Virginia Woolf
