- Silvia Pecha gehört mit ihrer äußerst gegenständlichen Malerei zur Schule des Phantastischen Realismus. Durch Einsatz kräftiger Farben erweckt die Malerin ihre bisweilen zynischen Aussagen zu eigenwilligem Leben und animiert die große Liebhaberschar ihrer Werke zum Nachdenken. Eine Eigenheit der PECHA-Werke liegt in der Liebe zum Detail. Immer wieder entdeckt man neue Einzelheiten in den Bildern, die oberflächlicher Betrachtung verborgen bleiben. Versteckte Andeutungen und Erklärungen werden nur demjenigen offenbar, der sich intensiv mit den Werken der phantastischen Realistin auseinandersetzt. Krieg, Frieden, Religion und soziale Ungerechtigkeit sind für ihr Schaffen genauso typische Themen, wie die Überlegungen zum Sein und Entstehen.
