- About Me:
- Proudly woman. I am 66 years young and my partner Steve is 48 yrs. I studied cooking in NYC and love to entertain friends. I love music and it influences my art: classical (from chants to modern composers), opera, the blues & jazz are my favorites. I read constantly....everything and have an extensive art library. I can never get enough of people: talking, listening, observing in order to interpret them in sculptures & paintings. I don't watch T.V. (never, ever). I enjoy watching selected DVD's on artists, nature, music, etc. I enjoy lively, interesting conversations with friends, new & old. I like to constantly learn, explore and grow. I look forward to the day that all woman will be free to express themselves in every way.

- About my art
- I sculpt in clay and also do mixed media sculptures. I paint in oil (using the old master glaze technique and I also paint with acrylics. I do mixed media work on canvas & on paper. I paint/sculpt both abstract, conceptual and realistic pieces. Most of my art is sold privately to individual collectors or comissioned. A lot of my art deals with woman'sl issues: rape, illness, power, equality, aging, expectations, etc. I also do art that deals with the issues in the world & society:
environment, war, hatred, prejudice, etc. I want people to look at my art and have to think, reflect, question not just say "pretty" and walk away. I love to express the body in all it's aspects and enjoy showing the erotic side of woman. I give private art lessons & enjoy working with children. I had my own successful photo business in NYC for over 16 yrs. & continue to make art photography utilizing tools such as Photo Shop. I enjoy being on various art sites as a way to meet other artists and to display my own pieces. This past June I started writting poetry and combining it with my art images.
