-- unfulfilled pursuit of culinary art education / daily participation via home cooking

-- t-shirts with acrylic paint or indelible ink - abstract - soothes my soul

-- applied as part of my daily coping with life's unforeseen variables beyond the imaginary concept of control

I sailed alone
On different ships
There were years of planning
For something more than to arrive at a place unfamiliar
Or a memory
Or photographs
And their stories
For something more than good food
Or inspiration
Stimulation
Or enlightened mood
I sailed alone
In different form
In another land
Without learned gravity
Because I chose another meaning
Placing my self in a place promoting
With all the glory of a moments notice
And beyond the clasp of affecting novice

In this moonscape life
Blinded
Unable to escape this ensuing self discussion:
It could be just this night
No
There have been others as well
Certainly more than in a year
Carrying me
Unprepared, unworthy and afraid
Scraping away failed attempts to rhyme
While the limitless combs a history
Taunted with decision making
Wrought without find
More than ever
Before and now
The strength has not diminished
No why
None
Not even a clue
Such is privilege
Without reward
Coping
Without strategy
Forward
With expected distractions
Neither inspired nor practiced
Last year
Rages
Active in a tattered domain
Disconcert
SO LOUD
Listening so strained
No lover’s path has been cast upon this writer’s soulful unrest
Conclusion must be forthcoming
The hopeful end to that which seeks only
A moment’s glory understanding I am not
The cause alone

I look back now
Some clarity lost
Like passing through a mist
The path’s early images become less defined as the distance increases
I look back trying to remember
Hoping at one point to relive the intensity
For those feelings
Faded now
As if engraved in gray on grayer
A permanent reminder that all things felt since
Are birthed from that experience
I hope for another chance to express
What I would say if I were there again
Speaking practiced verse
Respectfully poignant
Carefully rehearsed
To preserve the image’s
Feathered lines
Our history soft and secret
Always wanting
Never having
More than a memory
And without regret
I remain silent
As a mist that touches all
Having place only unto itself

- "Favorite" is a term that begets commitment via a singular precept in an environment that continually changes.

Inez - for her unconditional positive regard (taught me to tie my shoes)
Adel - for her unconditional positive regard (mother of best friend)
Mrs. May - for her unconditional positive regard (first adult to address my psyche objectively and with a loving a caring direction)
Dr. Watson - for her unconditional positive regard (music theory professor)
Kim - for her unconditional positive regard (inspired second awakening resulting in writing poetry, again)
Creative Writing Professor U of H - for her unconditional positive regard (please forgive name absence - supported creative writing effort)
Peggy - for her unconditional positive regard (friendship & artistic guidance)

My favorite planet of occupation is earth - because I know no other
Commitment: universal principals representative or relating to good, love, respect, awareness, growth, nurturing, teaching, support, and objectivity

I find many of your pictures here great. Your skies are dramatic and your dog is not young. The father is 11 the son is 4. On the other site, I put the son: Vulcain and the cat called Le Chat.
