Diversity is beautiful

Diversity makes the world beautiful and interesting, I wonder how nature would look if it only consisted of one form of life …. One type of plant …. One type of animals … one form of landscape …

Tourists every day make painstaking journeys to discover other parts of the world … what would happen if it was all the same?

Why is it then that we humans refuse such diversity and variety?
Why is it that we strive to make the world a photo copy of ourselves?
Why is it that we degrade anything and everything that doesn’t measure up to our own standards?

Wars … fights …. Bloodshed … hatred … animosity … all have been means to
(whatever-izing) the world … because difference and diversity makes arrogant people nervous …

It takes a very self-centered and arrogant person to believe the world should measure up to his/her standards … yet this is something we commit in our every day life to a point where it became the “status quo” …. So it’s ok to attack “those” and it’s ok to underestimate and dehumanize “these” … we no longer feel shame when we dehumanize and degrade other …. The opposite might be true.
How is it that we have reached this low?

Check your daily newspaper, your everyday T.V show, comments and forums all over the World Wide Web, but more look inside your own prejudices and fears … analyze and look at things from a different perspective and you will know what I mean … we live in a crazy and sad time.
